Dear Parents and Carers,

We look forward to the PTA Summer BBQ tonight! It promises to be a lovely evening for both children and parents with fantastic food and entertainment in the school hall. Entrance to the BBQ is via the Queen’s Road gate and all children need to be accompanied by an adult. Thank you in advance to the Y4 parents for organising the event!

This week in school

KS1 Sports Day

The children in Reception, Y1 and Y2 performed brilliantly in the KS1 Sports Day yesterday. Thank you to Mr Sager and Mrs Knowles, and to our Y6 helpers for assisting the event.

Y1 and Y2 Performances

Our Y1 and Y2 children have been having Drama lessons with Mrs FitzGerald this term and were delighted to show the rest of the school their production of ‘Chicken Licken’ this afternoon. The children spoke and sang so well - a treat for all!

Renewable Energy Assembly

In RE lessons this term, we have had a whole school focus on ‘looking after our world’ and this morning we welcomed Mr Jordan, Charles and Lewis’s father into school to speak about renewable energy. The children asked some great questions, and hopefully Mr Jordan has inspired some of our pupils to take up careers in engineering and sustainable technology.

Vocal Concert

Well done to our Infant and Junior Choirs, Schola and to all those who sang solos in the vocal concert on Wednesday. Some amazing talent on show!
